Illustration Friday: Phobia


"Phobia," for Illustration Friday. Black ink on cardstock paper.

I used a black Sharpie marker and rapidograph-style pen on a bit of cardstock for this one.

is it the fear of touching doorknobs or leaving the house? i hate touching doorknobs. but if he is going to leave the house he should put on a shirt. and shoes. cuz he wont get service anywhere.
i like the idea though.
you should try using Micron pens in different widths, if you havent. Sharpies tend to bleed but Mircon's look more like real pen & ink.

I'm diggin the pen and ink style. The stretched perspective/point of view is really effective. I'm super psyched you're posting your work! If you ever want to get some Microns for cheaper let me know.

Heheh...I just bought some rapidograph pens and a bunch of other art materials from some dude in craigslist. I think I'll be trying charcoal soon enough.
